My 101/1001
I sucked at keeping up with my 101/1001 list. So I decided to revamp it. A lot of my old goals had numbers attached that were daunting and if I didn't start immediately I felt like I couldn't do them at all. So here we go. A(an almost) no numbers list of things I want to do.

My official start day will be tomorrow, 7/8/2010 and my end date will be 4/4/2013 (provided the world hasn't ended)

1. Learn to drive

2. Buy a car

3. Go back to school

4. Stick to budget

5. Put all extra money in interest earning savings account

6. Move out

7. Start cooking dinner

8. Read 100 of the
1001 Books To Read Before You Die [0/100]

9. Lose 90lbs and keep it off
(weight gain allowed in case of pregnancy, who knows what'll happen in 3 years time) [0/90]

10. Pay off all debts [$500/$1795.48]

11.

12.

13. find my shade of red lipstick

14. use up all the makeup I have before buying anything I think I need

15. Buy an acoustic guitar

16. learn to play the guitar

17. take voice lessons

18. invest in a quality "grown up" purse

19. Be able to run 2 miles everyday

20. take more pictures

21.

22.

23. put loose change in a piggy bank and don't cash in til it's full

24. unclutter life. Donate clothes/books/movies I no longer use, participate in paperback swaps (will help with #8)

25. drink no more than 4 sodas per week
(I drink diet but the fizz can't be healthy)

26. find a flattering look using my natural hair color.
No more reds and blondes. Cannot modify with anything other than subtle high/lowlights.

27. learn ways to love my eyes the way they are

28. own no more than 5 purses. Want a new one? Something has to go.

29. perfect a signature.
Right now it's a scribble that vaguely resembles my name.

30. Find new activities to do with friends. See the side of Portland that tourists love.

31.

32.

33.

34. buy a bathrobe.
Cute and made of terry cloth. It's been surprisingly hard to find.

35.

36. keep a journal. write in it every other day, even if I have nothing to say

37.

38. Drink water every day

39. Join a gym.

40. Work out at least 5 times a week, every week.

41. keep life organized

42. Volunteer at least 3 times [0/3]

My first trip was terrible and I left in tears, I need happy Disney memories.

44. buy video camera. Tape things.
I'd like to have home movies or something that I can watch later on.

45. start sending cards for every birthday

46. create a scrapbook.
I have the book I just need to get pictures and put it together.

47. get a dog

48. get phone put in own name. It's in my Gma's now because it would have cost me a $400 deposit on account of my credit. also working on it. I'm saving my money and have decided to make this happen in October when my phone is up for an upgrade.

49. Get a job (or two)

50. review 5 movies and books a year [0/15] [0/15]

51. register to vote.
I know it's terrible! I actually filled out the whole thing and sent it in for the last presidential election but I missed one box and they sent it back but it was already too late to vote so I forgot to fix it and send it back to them.

52. get cosmetic dental work done.
I have two teeth in the very back that needed to be pulled and am self conscious of the gap.

53.

54. Donate to charity. Be it time/goods/money. Just donate something.

55. get eyebrows waxed and keep up shape.

(cute with a basket, cuz that's how I roll)

80. do makeup tricks/workouts/hairstyles/recipes that I clip out of magazines and review.

81. subscribe to a podcast I care about

82. invest in myself.
Whether it's a new wardrobe or learning a new skill, I'm worth the effort

83. see 30 of the
Top 100 Greatest Movies [0/30]

88.

89. buy frames for photos and actually hang them up close-up so you can see where they're situated on the wall. But I'll definitely get more too.

90. buy a fun umbrella

91. organize my closet

92.

93. go to a strip club. I've just never been and it would be fun

94. find a "regular" place. Like a place where I go a lot (with or without my friends) Central Perk to FRIENDS, MacLaren's to HIMYM...you get the picture

95. buy new sheets to grow up my room. I like my duvet cover but my sheets are bright pink, while I love pink...I think I should probably pick an accent color so it doesn't look so childish

96. buy/make a vanity. My Gma has one that's a mirror over her dresser so I could always get a cheap mirror and desk and put them together.

97. get library card

98. buy wii with wii fit and wii active (I'm coveting wii active)

99. create a beauty routine and stick to it

100. get 7hrs of sleep every night

101. buy a nice pair of boots. I'm completely obsessed with boots but my calves are big so I can't wear most styles.

I love your list! For joining a gym, may I suggest Curves? I really think it's the best out there, for a few reasons. First: no guys to size you up or make you feel weak/looked at/intimidated. Second: women of all shapes, sizes, and ages. Third: You use every single machine for 30 seconds before moving to a recovery board, jogging or dancing in place for 30 seconds, and then moving to the next machine for 30 seconds. You hit every machine twice, and then there's a stretching station. It's great because a. you aren't wandering around aimlessly, unsure of what to do; b. you're working every muscle group, every time; and c. your workout is finished in a half an hour and you can move on with your day, feeling energized and good about yourself!

I just started, so I can't talk results, but I know a lot of people who swear by Curves. I love it so much, though, and I leave with a huge smile on my face every single day! They recommend 3x/week, but it's so fun and feels so good, I'll probably do at least 4x/week.

Anyway, just thought I'd throw that out there!

I hadn't thought about Curves, but you make it sound like fun so it's definitely something I'll look into. Thanks!

This is funky as! I just bought Wii Fit plus :D And Boots are of course a must have!
I love the idea of having your own signature scent -remember to take some one with you that's honest because sometimes something you may think smells nice, may not suit you! Weird I know but I tried many before I got my own! :D

So many awesome things on this list. :D I dunno how you thought of them all!

Thanks.

Mostly I get a lot of thoughts. Sometimes I get really pumped about something like "I'm going to start saving money! I don't need to spend anything at all" and then it works for a couple days but I start going back to my old ways. Pretty much this is just a list of all of my ideas.

What a good idea! I think I'll make a list of my own. :)

(We share some goals in common, btw. lol)

I saw you in Scriptish's comments so I thought I'd come say hi!

I really like the "have a monthly soundtrack and post it" that's a pretty cool idea!

Haha thank you.

I've always wanted to do something like that, but the fact is, if left to my own devices I'll mostly listen to the same songs over and over again so now I make a playlist and put it on my ipod so that's all I can listen to.
